Brunei Darussalam celebrates its 42nd National Day 2026 with a Kesyukuran Ceremony with the mass Fardhu Zohor Prayer, Reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran simultaneously at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide.
With the theme, 'Bersatu Mencapai Cita Negara', this year's celebration is very special as it coincides with the month of Ramadhan Al-Mubarak which carries great meaning about sacrifice, patience and sincerity of heart.
In conjunction with the Forty-Second National Day Celebration, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, received several messages of congratulations from Foreign Heads of State and Government as well as Foreign Dignitaries.
